1) Why was smoking cigarettes broadcasted as positive in mainstream media if it were so dangerous?
2) Why did/do we have smoking models, actors and doctors with absolutely no one interfering with their smoking patterns if it were really that bad?

Came here to make this exact argument. Just because something is portrayed positively in the media doesn't mean it's good for you. Companies are trying to sell you their shit, they don't give a flying fuck about your health.
