This isn't going to happen because most public schools have whored themselves out to the big-food corporations. You will have walls of vending machines that sell both liquid and solid beetus. You will have cafeterias with fast-food chain stalls set up inside. Hell, even the younger kids are screwed too. I saw pictures of a kindergarten that sold out to Coca Cola and has the helpless tots sitting in branded chairs. Like fish in a barrel.

I looked hard for the pic of the kids sitting in the coke-branded chairs. Couldn't find any though. Might have been from a documentary called "That Sugar Film".

We never had this in our high school. We had one coke vending machine by the gym. Sure, our lunches were the typical chicken nuggets, salty mashed potatoes, rectangle pizza, etc. This was back in the '90s, though, and I know things have changed. I am lucky to live in one of the last remaining shitlordy parts of the US (Colorado) and they do make an effort to not have walls of sugar and junk available throughout the school day. The school that my son will be going to when he's in high school has a huge, lovely salad bar.

Don't change, Colorado!
