This is true. My best friend's boyfriend tried super hard to set me up with his friend, a FAT 45 year old nerd (nothing wrong with nerds, just big fat ones), and I was probably 24 at the time. I was pissed at this guy, for he had convinced his friend that I was super interested in him. He gave him my number and would invite me over and not tell me he was there. My best friend didn't really try too hard to stop it, like maybe say that this wasn't a good idea as I was way out of his league (sorry, conceited) and It took forever for me to get him to leave me alone.
I was very pissed at my friends. I almost didn't even blame gross fatty as much because he had been convinced I would be interested. Me, half his age and probably 3 and half times smaller.

That is outrageous.
I have a male friend looking for a girlfriend, he's pretty fit and likes to be active, he's fairly handsome, I would give him a rating of a 7 or 7.5/10. My gf suggested one of her colleagues at work, because "she's nice". I said to my gf, ABSOLUTELY NOT NO CHANCE IN HELL would I suggest this girl to my buddy. This girl is 300 pounds. I told my gf I actually like my buddy and it would be insulting him for us to try to set them up together. I was pissed at my gf that I even had to have that conversation with her, she should have known better.
Honestly some people just don't get it.

You are correct, he'd hate you. When I was a teenager, my friend set me up on a blind date with some emo fatty. Even worse, she was my ride and abandoned me to go makeout with her boyfriend. I did the only logical thing, which was to stand outside in the rain. Never again.
