It looks that way. I mean they started making him go outside to play after the kids dad complained, but all he'll do is sit stationary on his bike in the driveway until he comes in.

If I were the kids dad I'd buy a bike and take him biking around some backroads (they live in the country, plenty of abandoned roads to choose from) for an hour and start teaching him the importance of vegetables and lean meats.

Why is it always the person who opts not to have children that would make the better parent? Or at least thats how it works in my family....

I think intelligent people know the responsibilities and hard work involved to raise healthy children and opt-out of it (like myself). Lazy/selfish/stupid parents don't put in the effort. Some stupid people just like to breed for the sake of having children (cause what else can they do in this world?). I honestly think people should be screened before having children to see if they are fit to be parents...I mean nowadays you need a license to do anything in this country. With so many unwanted children in this world...I think a license to have children should be mandated. Obese people shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Both my parents were obese when I was a small child (now one of them is obese and the other is overweight). I ended up struggling with anorexia after receiving so many mixed signals about health. I've only recently (within the past year) with the help of my doctor sorted out whats right and whats wrong health wise (portions, types of foods), now im just getting through the emotional side of things.

I think there's something fucked up about being that huge and thinking your capable of taking care of a child. A big part of growing up is health. You want your healthy baby to be a healthy adult

Yeah, I think you're right. That's the reason I'm never having children. (that and i completely do not have the disposition for raising a child.) And psychological screening, medical screening and licensing. That's what I've always wanted to happen. It's depressing how many stupid, useless fucks have children and then proceed to screw them up. Definitely would love it if licensing were required to have a kid.

Of course, they'd probably find a way around it. Because people are crap like that.
