I don't think you understand that 32DD and 36C are "sister sizes". Assuming you are an actual 32DD, your breasts are the same volume as a proper 36C.
Or you are just a really bad troll.

wait wait wait, i thought the number was the circumference underneath the boob and the letter shows how much more circumference the breast has. So 36C meansn 36" under boob and 39" at the boobs. So 32DD is 32" under the boob and 37" at the boob.
and what the hell are sister sizes? Btw I'm a guy enlighten me on bras :D

So here's where it stops making sense.
The general rule of thumb is that if you go up a band size, you go down a cup size, and vice versa. Bands only come in even sizes (typically, there's some brands that do custom sizes). So even though you're moving 2in in either direction at the ribcage, it's treated as an equivalent to 1in of breast circumference when going between sizes. It does work, and it helps if say, you have a solid 35in ribcage and a 34C is too tight around but the cups fit, you can try a 36B and know the cups should still fit.

I'm not hating on the volume as much as the band size. But I'll admit that could be skewed. I know a girl who wears a 36 band size and her torso is twice the size of mine. So in my head that's what I pictured. I also know if I wore a 36 band it would nothing to support me. But hey if I was wrong, I own that. My bad.

No worries. 36 is probably the top end of passable, honestly. Broad build, barrel chested, muscular, ect. But I knew a fair amount of fat/flabby girls who wore their 36C/Ds proudly despite being probably a 40A. It's an easier size to find, and they can strap it on, so all the fats swear it's "their size".
