I seem to have forgotten why I hate going to the movies. Fats. Everywhere.
So the other day, my mom and I went to see Finding Dory (loved it, by the way). Thankfully it wasn't packed, I guess that's what you get for living in a small town. But the other moviegoers, holy shit. I expected fats, yes. But seeing what they bought was ridiculous! Two fats had a large bag of popcorn each, accompanied by a large (probably diet) soda. Another had their kid buy 2 bags of popcorn, and a few boxes of candy. Poor girl could barely hold it all as she carried it to her mom. And what pissed me off the most was the whale who bought their kids their own bag of popcorn. She had a bucket all to herself as well. What the hell happened to sharing? Is that concept lost to fats? It's barely a 2 hour movie, you don't need a damn feast in an aisle you can barely fit in.
