My grandparents have too.

I think those one are unlike modern fats in that they were normal most of their lives, and only became fat after they were old. It's not due to attitude, necessarily, but because they were used to so little food growing up that, in this day and age where food is everywhere at very cheap prices, the same habits they used to have make them fat.

It still doesn't excuse it, but the personality problems we criticise in millennial fats don't really apply to them.

But maybe I'm just clouded by the fact that they're my grandparents and I'm their favorite.

It most certainly is. Stop with the fat sympathy.

Not being fat is as simple as putting down the fork. Stop spreading fat logic and go back to fattit.
