Not necessarily. Adaptation does that.
Tho, shitty evolution has occured in the past, but because they did not aid in the survival of that particular offspring, or worse, hindered it, it died before being able to pass on its genes.
If only that happened to these fat fucks...

Thank you very much. Evolution is often misunderstood even by educated people. Because it means "non-reproduction or death before reproduction, of the least fit, on a statistical scale, mostly continous but also with occassional fast developments". Pitily, "survival of the fittest" is a much nicer catchphrase. But it wasn't invented by Charles Darwin, it was used by him to calm critics after Herbert Spencer coined the term.
