So I wouldn't usually go near modcloth, not being a particularly alternative individual as their target audience seems to be, but I'm going to be eloping with my gorgeous shitlord bf this fall if all goes as planned (secret awesomely romantic plans!), and being a dirt-poor student I need to find a cheap dress. I happened upon this: Dress. Its a pretty cool looking dress, more boho than "rockabilly", but there are no reviews by humans...just hams. And they're all complaining about the bust not being supportive enough? Which worried me at first, being a 32DD myself, until I realized that ham "boobs" have no natural support/oomph, they're just flappy pancake skin sacks. So I'm still considering the dress, and thinking it might be cool to post a review myself if I buy it, complete with a shitlording picture of a human-sized female (me) wearing it to shame those cows by comparison.
Also, if any of y'all have dress suggestions $300/under, or funny fitshion vs fatshion wedding comparisons to share, please do!

I actually make clothes for a living (not so much into wedding dresses but ive done separates before), Honestly your best bet is to go onto EBAY- narrow it down to stuff that is only in your country, and just pay really close attention to the photos, if it looks modeled and something that you see in a facebook ad, it probably is. Are you looking for more of a boho look? i might be able to narrow down a couple of sellers in particular i like.

Boho sort of, I really like lacy and flowy details but I'm also a little girly. not even entirely sure what would look good on me or what I want, something like these maybe:

But I also like sheath dresses and other styles. Anything around $300 or less and well made would make me happy! haha. I'd love to put some business towards a local seller or a small business/seamstress, I am afraid of getting stuck in a sketchy situation not knowing anything about a seller though.

Honestly if you're in the states go look at goodwill online. They always have a plethora of wedding gowns that don't all look like theyre from the 50s, and they're very honest about conditions and the like.
