So this sub is probably best re-purposed for Voat-based evolution games. Now I think would be a good time to discuss how we move forward with these games. To start off, I don't want it to go rules heavy. That always makes players lose interest and it is hard enough for me to just find time to doodle some evolutions - let alone be a lawyer.
The Cave game was great. Still a bit of activity going on, but it looks like it has settled down. It was a good fun day. I think if we continue with this we should play a game for a week, then switch to a new one. I also think to keep things from getting too messy - I should be the one to create all the games and basically act as Game Manager (GM). Don't worry, I am a kind and forgiving god. So let's discuss the best way to utilize this subverse. These games tend to work better on a 'chan which leaves everything chronological. The up/downvoat system messes this up slightly. I think the next 3 options are the most plausible moving forward.
Option A - Play the game like the last one. One post, edit all creatures in the comments. This way it is all contained in one easy place. Pro - Easy to archive and keep track of. Con - A real clusterfuck sorting through comments to find new evolutions.
Option B - Run one game in multiple threads. Each submission would be a different species and the subverse sticky would give the general game rules. Pro - Easier to keep track of evolution trees/find new creatures to evolve. Con - Lots of different threads, may be hard keep track of what is affecting what.
Option C - Each post is a new creature. Pros - No comment section to sort through. Cons - Voting system really fucks this up, lots of posts everywhere, could end up as an absolute mess.
Option D - You make a suggestion.
Now I'm going to do an annoying thing and ping all the users of the past game in the comment section. Sorry about this. I think moving forward we need to do a continuation of the cave game. Lots of fun had there.
