Fascinating read and quite interesting that it comes to my attention now.

I've been feeling this abundantly in my life recently.

I would agree to this to a good extent "Here Socrates argues that life is not worth living if the soul is ruined by wrongdoing."

I would take it further and say it is easy to see those that do not nurture their souls as it eventually manifests physically.

Yes this is quite true, stress hormones for those running contrary to their own moral code, will bring about a quickening of the ageing process.

Are those lacking in conscience less susceptible to stress hormones? I would imagine yes and no... Obsession with image to the point of sour vanity is something which manifests itself in some with tortured or torturous souls. This masking becomes just that, a mask... Not that I am opposed to altering ones appearance just, done from a place of emptiness rather than wholearchic improvement, it tends to look false. Nothing more attractive than a healthy individual which brings us to Hippocrates.

Do you have more resources about Hippocrates? I find so much I search for just brings me to the Oath... which is interesting but seems to be missing so much more information regarding his Style of medicine and how he applied it.
