I've never seen an amp-hour number for these things. I've assumed it's because the general public is unfamiliar with it but a voltage has never been released either so we can't even estimate.

Doesn't have to be amp-hour. Can be 30k houses for 20 minutes which is easy to understand.

I presume that the quoted 30k house represents the power at max discharge rate (for max PR value) so can't hold for too long.

Looking at it that way suggests a worse case scenario with those 30,000 homes finding themselves collectively "off-grid".

But that's not what it's designed to do and it would be misleading to hold it to that standard.

It's designed as a supplement. If we knew it's capacity, we could use an average length of time for a brown-out & the amount of amps required to make up the difference to figure out how useful it'll be.
