That's why everyone I talked to about it found it strange that I didn't give a drowning rats ass about the government employees during the shutdown. I've watched first hand as the government robbed people of their livelihoods, why would I give a fuck about them?

There are pros and cons for working for the government. One pro is that it is an incredibly secure job. A con is that you are at the whims of the Government...
Bureaucrats have no problems separating American families, robbing Americans of liberty. To spend even one moment of compassion on government workers is absurd.
I loved how the media was covering lifetime employees during the shutdown. They talk about how they have had stable employement for 25 years but missed bills after 1 missed paycheck?
I’ve worked federal jobs. The answer is not just no, but hell no. Even as cynical as this place is, the average Voater would be shocked at how cavalier the government is about wasting your money.

I have been through family court and talked to a mother of a son also going through it. These people will literally laugh in your face as you suffer. The rest of Voat may still be half innocent, but I see how hungry these bureaucrats are for a new Soviet Union and white genocide.

I would like to know why paying workers is more important as a focus than the work that did not get done?

They actually don't care about anyone.
