SS and Public pensions are NOT get something for free, without paying for it. It is something that is STOLEN from one individual and given to another by a third party.
If tomorrow the option was made that you could withdraw from participation in SS how many people do you think would continue to "invest" in it? If the state and federal government were made accountable for their public pension plans with sustainable limits placed upon them how long do you think those pensions would exist?

No. That's not what has happened.
To many people SS and pensions are "free". They may have partially paid into these programs but the will far exceed what they put in and suck away at someone elses.
I AM THE ONE paying attention to the argument, that's what your problem is.
