He's not wrong.

A few years ago(10 actually) I blew a fucking nut. I had finally reached "that point" in my life where all the money I made could go toward the things I wanted it to. So for a solid year I didn't alter my lifestyle and ALL money that was left over each month went into my savings.

So I trudge on for a year, piling paycheck after paycheck into the bank and then comes the end of the year where I round up all my receipts and prepare for the annual ass raping the IRS gives. So I look at my bank account and I'm FUCKING SHOCKED. There is money in there but it does not correspond with what I made nor how I lived for a year. I'm pissed.

I run through my expenses, month by month, item by item, graph it out meticulously. It turns out that 56% of my income goes toward some tax or another. And to top it off, it costs me another 21% of my income "to live" so that I can pay taxes.

And so I start with SS. I get out the form they used to send and look at what I've paid in. Then I take that amount and divide by the maximum monthly benefit and do you know what I found? If I had retired THAT DAY, and didn't start collecting SS until I turned 66 years old, I would have to live until 73 in order to collect all that has been taken. THAT WAS OVER TEN YEARS AGO. They've stolen much more since then.

So no, SS is an entitlement. I will NEVER be able to collect what they have stolen from me. Some piece of shit will though.

Instead of running your mouth why don't YOU check your own SS deduction and benefit ratio. You might be surprised or........you might be one those pieces of shit.

I'm not referring to the statement that "SS is communism", I'm talking about the entire context of your replies.

But since you brought it up.......

com·mu·nism a : a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed

In this instance social security would be the "goods" which are owned by the State and made available to all as needed. These goods are not earned and they are pooled and distributed equally even though they are not taken equally.

So yeah, social security IS a form of communism.

Did you pull out your SS deposits like I suggested? DID YOU? and did you calculate how many years at your estimated benefit rate it will take to recoup the lost revenue? okay then, let me know when you do.
