Retail investors always face real risk. "Banks" shift risk to taxpayers, therefore we again face risk. Growth is an illusion because currency is always being debased. Currency is fiat and carries no risk to central banks or the government since there is no collateral behind it. Us deplorables on the other hand have no hedge. We are the Muppets or patsies. Our debts are collateralized, therefore only we face risk.
