I agree closing down the Mosque would be unconstitutional, however, jailing the individuals involved in supporting a terrorist group would be just. So we don't close down the Mosque, but instead jail the imam. Actually, now that I think about it, I bet Asset forfeiture could be used to take the mosque as well.

We shut down cults... Mormon polygamy compounds... Certain KKK congregations...etc. Freedom of religion is all well and good but it can't supersede individual human rights/freedoms. Cross a certain line and get shut down. Islam has crossed that line.

Shut down anything that has ties with terrorist groups. So, like 2/3 of the government?

Hmmm no, i don't agree. I think it has been proven more than enough that there is no such thing as moderate Islam and that Islam is a trojan horse inside our civil societies... so close them all down, no exceptions.

Government can't do that. But the population can hate crime that shit right out of the country and I would lift my beer high and swig it down in praise of their removal.

No I don't agree with this we have freedom of religion in this country and I'm not going to stand in the way of another Americans rights. What we should do instead is taken into custody anyone we have caught and water board the shit out of them until they tell us everything they know now that I would be for.

Yes, but only after publicly available surveillance information proves that the mosque and/or it's spokesmen endorse violence.

Deport the people instead of baning asembly of religion, would theoretically be the other option. We're already giving them the go ahead by allowing known extremists to operate in our borders.
