I've found that one of the best ways to learn a language is through immersion. I'm sure many of you folks know this already, but I'd like to share some of my tips regarding this.
If you use social media often, see if the website has a fully complete translation for the language you're trying to learn. I will often switch back and forth between English and Deutsch on my various accounts, and, believe it or not, I learn a great deal of Vokabular und Grammatik from this!
In addition, if any of you play video games, you'll find it not only interesting but fun to translate your game to German. By the time you do this, you will have most likely memorized certain names, actions, and buttons in the game, yet at first you will have to go to them via knowledge of their location. Afterwards, you will then translate and start to remember the German version of the tongue.
Furthermore, reading both prose text and news websites in German helps as well!
The next time you're on a site or playing a game you're quite familiar with, consider becoming acquainted in German!
(If I've made any grammatical or word-related mistakes pertaining to German in this post, let me know! Learning a language is a never-ending process.
