The bullying and abuse rule should stand as it. This is a depression subverse, shit like that could be that last straw to push someone over the edge.
I don't know how most people feel about hearing stuff such as "it gets better", but I am personally sick of hearing that. I don't feel like it really adds to discussion whatsoever.
The tough love rule I am not entirely sure about. It works for some and doesn't for others. I feel that tough love could fall into the "bullying or abuse" category for some, which may just make the person feel worse about themselves.
