$203 sounds like a home run but that just about covers the dry cleaning bills incurred just to clean the items I've listed. Luckily I have active listings that people are bidding on (and plenty of live listings waiting to get bid on) so hopefully I'll clean up.
Most of my items had not been selling so I had to relist them a couple of times. I'm either pricing them too high or the right people aren't seeing them.
It's a bit of a letdown considering I do have gems of items listed. I'll have to consider selling them for less to get them out of my life forever.
That's not to say this hasn't been fun overall.
But it's taking soooo long to get rid of stuff. I have several more items to iron and photograph and list.
On top of eBay I've been donating even more clothes I had previously put in the "keep" bin. Ha! Outten Sie!
Did you know that it's difficult finding places that will accept men's suit jackets and blazer donations? My boyfriend gave me several of his to get rid of and I still haven't found the perfect match of where to donate. I want to send them to veterans orgs that help vets transition to the work force. I've narrowed the groups down to a couple I'll donate to but it's a sad reality that it's not that easy to find these resources.
Despite my complaining this is all progress I'm happy about.
