It's a good article and kind of an interesting perspective for TRP.

I feel pretty good on congruence, at least, and it doesn't feel like a general anxiety issue. Meditation has been suggested to me a lot. I'm too lazy to sit down in mental silence. . . But I know it's a good habit to pick up. This suggestion was a little different though: I've never sat down and really considered why I get so nervous. Probably some unhappiness over my appearance, which I can correct to some extent but eventually need to accept.

Huh, whaddaya know. This was more helpful than I expected, thanks once more (: Do you apply these techniques as well?

No problem.

I'm definitely trying to be better around people, and a lot of that is anxiety. I have to say something, and will often speak too soon. It's probably because I've felt I've made dumb choices over the last few years, but I'm working on that too. Meditation had never been suggested to me as a means to ignore your thoughts, which I find interesting. I still won't do it, but at least its cool.
