Technically no, but yes in >99% of scenarios. If you moved into NJ with firearms, and manage to find a place to shoot them without a "purchasing permit," then you're good to go. Problem is, you need a "purchasing permit" to buy ammo, and no gun range or club will let you shoot without one. Cops also think that you need a "Purchasing permit" to own and transport firearms.

I had a couple military buddies driving to the gun range get pulled over. The cop was all up in arms about how they needed a fucking purchasing permit to transport firearms. He was going to slap them in handcuffs and haul them off, but they managed to convince the cop he was in the wrong only because the state police website said that the cop was wrong.

They act like a purchasing permit is a legitimate license to do anything, when it's legal purpose is to allow you to buy arms and ammo. I've even had one person tell me I needed it to buy bows and arrows. The archery store said that's bullshit and would sell stuff no problem. I don't know if shooting ranges and gun clubs require it because of the law, or if they don't want to risk a lawsuit of some sort.

Of course all this is unconstitutional, but it just goes to show that a "purchasing permit" is much more than to just purchase stuff.

"Shall not be infringed."

The cop was infringing.

I don't know what it's like to be shot. Does he?

Police Officer Shot by Two USAF Sergeants

Two white members of the United States Air Force fired upon a light skinned latino police officer after being pulled over for burnt tail light. The police officer questioned them about the cache of weapons and stockpile of ammo. After they admitted they don't have a permit, the officer attempted to apprehend the two individuals.

Without warning, the two fired upon the officer with their high powered assault style weapons and their steel penetrator ammo designed do pierce through obstacles. The bullets pierced through the police grade body armor the officer was wearing under his uniform. They torched the police cruiser with a road flair before fleeing the scene.

After a long pursuit that lasted over 30 minutes, they were apprehended by state officials. Police found three weapons (two rifles and a pistol) and over 200 empty casings.

The military is now investigating itself to find any connections to extremism within its ranks. "We will not rest until all die hard constitutionalists are eradicated from our Air Force. There is no place here for any extremists willing to fight and die for his or her radical views," stated the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, David L. Goldfein.

Should have asked the cop if he had his purchasing permit on him and if not disarm him

Just buy ammo in PA or DE depending on what part of the state you are in.
