You don’t get to not follow the laws you don’t agree with. You have to work to change them. Where were you when the national resiprosity bill died? In NJ you need a permit to buy ammo. You only need a NICs check to buy a long gun. You need a permit to purchase a handgun. We are working to make things better in NJ, but the opposition is ingrained. Don’t discourage people from owning guns in NJ.

Unjust laws require ignoring.
You miss that part where all the law abiding citizens went ahead and turned in all their mags with over 10 round capacity?
I sure fucking didn't.

Fair point. Maybe he was being sarcastic, too. Thanks for the reality check, goat.

Do you, off hand, how challenges against such, what appear to be unconstitutional, laws have fared in NJ?

I assume it wasn't crying after pulling the trigger, so progress?

Technically no, but yes in >99% of scenarios. If you moved into NJ with firearms, and manage to find a place to shoot them without a "purchasing permit," then you're good to go. Problem is, you need a "purchasing permit" to buy ammo, and no gun range or club will let you shoot without one. Cops also think that you need a "Purchasing permit" to own and transport firearms.
I had a couple military buddies driving to the gun range get pulled over. The cop was all up in arms about how they needed a fucking purchasing permit to transport firearms. He was going to slap them in handcuffs and haul them off, but they managed to convince the cop he was in the wrong only because the state police website said that the cop was wrong.
They act like a purchasing permit is a legitimate license to do anything, when it's legal purpose is to allow you to buy arms and ammo. I've even had one person tell me I needed it to buy bows and arrows. The archery store said that's bullshit and would sell stuff no problem. I don't know if shooting ranges and gun clubs require it because of the law, or if they don't want to risk a lawsuit of some sort.
Of course all this is unconstitutional, but it just goes to show that a "purchasing permit" is much more than to just purchase stuff.

"Shall not be infringed."
The cop was infringing.
I don't know what it's like to be shot. Does he?

The cop can definitely help you figure out what that feels like

He won’t but his kids and loved ones get 3.
[–] crazy_eyes 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Should have asked the cop if he had his purchasing permit on him and if not disarm him

Just buy ammo in PA or DE depending on what part of the state you are in.
[–] SIayfire122 0 points 8 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago
I should be able to buy ammo from my local barber shop.

It's cool, the government gave me a permission slip that can be easily revoked/ignored if they want. I mean it works for most places except most of the day to day places I go. But it clearly says right here that I have freedom.

How gracious of your betters to allow you this bit of fun. Better do everything you're told or you can kiss that permit goodbye!
Don't offend anyone either, or they'll call you in as a threat to yourself and others, buh-bye permit! Hello armed thugs to confiscate!

Faggot doesn't realize a right doesn't require a permit.

I recommend everyone go to a gun show that allows cash and carry and grab at least one weapon more powerful than a 9m. You can cash and carry 7.62 AKs never hurts to have a gun people don’t know about because they can’t look you up in a registry.

It's not a right if you have to get permission first. We have no rights, people should understand that.
[–] Sitnikoff 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Is it really feasible to just ignore getting a permit?
If they crack down on you, could you take it to the supreme court?
