My suggestion is to not go any smaller than 9x19mm. Look at the single stack 9s. Glock 43, M&P shield or XD-s 9. This is just my opinion and philosophy.

To me a 380 is fine as a last ditch ankle rig but a bit lacking for primary ccw. You are already limiting round count with a single stack why do so even more with a weaker round.

I think that would be a good choice. You might want to consider two things, the accuracy of a short barreled handgun firing a .380 bullet and the long trigger pull.

To be honest, I do not like the .380 round. I cannot hit the broad sode of a barn with them.

I have a Ruger LC9S which is similar to the S&W 380 bodyguard. The trigger pull can be long and hard since there is no "real" safety. I do like the LC9S, especially with the extended mag with the pinky grip on the end.

Anyone carry a Sig 938? Been looking hard at those for a small 9mm.

I have the bodyguard 380 that I carry daily and I'm satisfied with it. I find the iron sights really easy to line up and shoot pretty accurately. I haven't had problems with the long trigger pull and concealment options are plentiful. I have a pocket holster, iwb, and ankle. Those get me through pretty much everything I wear.

I test fired the bodyguard and was not impressed, felt there was too long of a trigger pull. I ultimately bought a 9mm Shield at a gunshow and I love it. I even gave it a rough accenting to liven it up. It shoots great and is comfortable to wear everywhere.

I edc a g27, and man i cannot imagine going smaller in pistol size. It is still very shootable but also concealable. .40 in that pistol is very snappy but i shoot fine with it, but it aint for everyone. The 26 is a great little pistol. If you havent shot one id recommend checking it out

love the gun. but its alittle big/heavy to carry inside the waistband all day however as winter is coming its easier to carry in a shoulder holster . im only 5'8", a friend of mine who is 6'6" carries a judge (iwb).
