I honestly don't care if the writer or artist of a book is Black, White, Asian, or half-Indian/half-Inuit, for that matter. I go into the reading of most new comics completely blind to who the creative teams are, and if I like their work then I'll probably look them up later to find out more about them and their other works. Enjoyment of media like comics is a personal, subjective thing. If the characters, story, and art don't pique my interest then I'm not going to buy the book. The ethnic background of the creators doesn't mean a darned thing if the book isn't worth reading.
