Homosexuality has something to do with it, but a lifetime of forced celibacy is also a main factor.
The sex drive is a basic and powerful driver of human behavior. Forced lifetime celibacy of men who are still producing testosterone until their 40's is akin to trying to get a spider to not spin its web. Seminary school doesn't prepare these individuals for this.
You don't see this level of sex abuse in other Christian groups that allow their pastors or ministers to marry.

Incorrect. I suspect that your fixation on celibacy suggests you lack self discipline, self control, and are woefully ignorant of the problem. That or you fear being held responsible for your own actions, which means you're either queer or female.
I've been told from ministers in other denominations that homosexual predation is just as rampant in other christian denominations in advanced countries that have opened their ministry to women and homosexuals as the catholic church. The only reason the catholic church gets this level of coverage on this matter is because lay Catholics, not employed by the church and its satellite agencies, are the only ones working to keep attention on this issue. I find this suspicious as most media companies are Jewish owned and the Jewish have never been shy regarding their hostility towards Christianity. So the question we should be asking is, why would they hide such coverage at all?
Also, the fact that with several days to do so, you couldn't answer my previous question regarding the ranking of catholic ministry confirms you're either not catholic at all or your formation was poor. No one who enters catholic ministry is forced to be celibate. There is no knife to your throat, no gun to your head. Hard as this is to believe, there are people who willingly choose to not have sex and some who will go a step further and take a vow to refrain. Which further makes your comment regarding catholic seminary preparation mute and ill-informed. There is nothing, absolutely nothing currently preventing men, married or otherwise, from entering into Catholic ministry.
