China should. One child policy just makes me sick.
Three years ago, before I left China, I asked my mother:" what is some regretful thing you have done?" She said: "I was forced to do abortion when you were three years old. If I didn't, me and your dad would lose jobs. At that time almost all jobs are provided by government. so... ... I could feel that was a boy, and he was four months old ..." She never mentioned that to me before. At that time I just felt indignant and sad; even now as I am typing.

I am so sorry she had to go through with that, and for your grief over loosing a sibling. I can't even imagine. My son is from China, and was abandoned as an infant as a direct result of this policy. Being his forever family is such a blessing, but the tragedy of his loss (and his bio mother's loss) is so unfortunate, and will be something he deals with for the rest of his life. This change will be a step in the right direction, but there will still be restrictions.

You are very kind and generous. I know many American couples do the same thing, which makes me feel shame for Chinese government. People usually ignore why China has so giant population. That was because Mao, Zedong(died in 1976) and his sidekicks. He mentally 'predicted' that there would be a World War III, and China would lose half of the population due to nuclear weapon. So he encouraged women to conceive more children. That is why my parents' generation usually have 5-10 siblings. Afterward, it turned out that there were too many people. Then the government cruelly implemented one child policy. This is one of the most important felony this Chinese government committed, they are barefacedly treating human beings as tools.
