Dear Walmart, today I went and visited your store. I don't often go to Walmart anymore, but I had a purchase that need to be made today. Historically we have been great friends, I love your low prices. But today, while at your store, I was reminded why I never go there. The lines are as abysmally long. I shudder as I walk up to a register. Now I know I'm going to spend the next 15 minutes of my life waiting in line until I can start paying for the items I've selected. While I was there I thought I'd pick up a few things I typically get at my local grocery store. Since I don't typically go grocery shopping at Walmart, I had to ask a person where a few items were. The guy said to me, he doesn't know where the items that I was looking for our because he was doing something in an apartment he typically doesn't work in. I mentioned to him that I think Walmart should improve their customer service and I think that would really help their business and help return some of the business that was taken away by Amazon. Anyways, Walmart you definitely need to build your customer service model because it is very poor. I will do everything in my power to avoid your stores that have 40 registers with three of them open and people in the store not even working in the department where the items are located that can help me find them. If you did make this change, how would I ever know?

I agree wholeheartedly.
If you send this to corporate, though, change the word apartment to department.

Having worked at Walmart. I loved helping people. I was a cashier and one of the fastest there. I always had a long line because it was fast.
You get a lot of people you would expect to work there, but there are a lot of people that Walmart doesn't deserve. It isn't the little guy. All the shit rolls down from corporate every one else deals with if.
Cashiers are treated like shit. A good amount of abuse from the customer base - and management isn't going to invest a fucking dime in you because you're just going to quit anyway.
The atmosphere ofvstores always flows down from the top. The people in the stores are just trying to make the best of a bad situation.

They wanted to build a Walmart in my town and the neighboring towns but the local government wouldn't allow it. If I want to go to to Walmart the closet ones are 30 and 29 miles away, I guess that's kind of cool because there are a bunch of smaller buisnesses that probably thrive because of this.

Walmart decides who is working where in what department by having a monkey throw shit at a calendar and sees who it stick to.

I went to a local Walmart yesterday at around 6 am (because that's about the time I get off work) and there wasn't a single cashier aside from the person patrolling the shitty self service units.
I won't make that mistake again. Fuck Walmart.
