Eradicating jobs is basically murder at this point. If a person can't work they aren't going to be able to survive. Adding automation without considering the people who are displaced is going to cause a lot of problems. And as usual it will be the poor who suffer while the rich get richer.

But also another reason to boycott chinese products are the terrible quality of their goods. A quality that is most likely to go down with robots involved not up.

I do. Automation is an attempt to encheapen a product. It is all about making the product cheaper to produce so that more profit can be generated. The ideology of making things cheaper ALWAYS results in reduced quality.
