I noticed the link for dhammawheel.com in the sidebar.
Ironically, voat is supposed to be a place where anyone can say anything short of it getting the owners arrested ( why they removed the child pornography voats ). Dhammawheel is on the opposite end of the spectrum, where every conversation is tightly controlled.
Politely worded posts can get a lot of warning PMs from the mods buzzing around you flies. Even banned. Politely worded posts.
All you need to do is to show that there are other ways to look at Buddhism than the thin, tightly controlled vision of it that the mods have adopted for their bourgeois Buddhism to convince themselves they are more than middle class tools and to give them a mental escape.
I know nobody finds a rant about another place interesting.
Well, that was mine.
Thank you for letting me post.
