I own a Kindle Fire HD that is loaded up with nearly two thousand works of literary art. Most of what I own was downloaded for free directly to the tablet from Gutenberg, Manybooks, or Feedbooks.
eReaders are my preferred mode of reading. I read over sixty books over the last year and its mostly due to my method of reading: if one book is starting to lose my attention, I'll start a new book for a change of pace. The Kindle is excellent, because I have an enormous library where I have the liberty of doing this without the need to carry multiple physical books.
The Kindle was one of the best gifts I've ever received. I was in a reading slump five years ago, because I only had access to whatever I could immediately find in my father's private library or buy at a store. Sometimes the book that I choose didn't interest me and it would take a month to read. But with a Kindle, I can just download whatever interests me and I don't have to be bound by it if it doesn't.
Also the Kindle Fire is nice, because I sideloaded Google Chrome and Anime Mobile onto it.
