Synthesis of the Doctrine of Race is a 379-page book with three appendices, on top of an iconographic appendice of 52 photoengravings.
In Synthesis of the Doctrine of Race Evola sets out his own racial doctrine on the premise of the tripartition of the human being into body, soul, spirit, on the basis of which the connections, correspondences and affinities between the different degrees of race (the corporeal sphere, the soul, and finally the spiritual sphere), are considered by analogy. In the first part, race is seen as a revolutionary idea. The three degrees of race are defined in the second part and elaborated upon in the third one. The fourth part begins with a clear definition of the term "Aryan" and ends with considerations of the racial issue from the point of view of law. Finally, the problem of the rectification of race is approached both on the basis of the principles of the doctrine of race and in a concrete manner.
Appendix 1, entitled "On National-Socialist Racism" is a revised and greatly expanded edition of https://elementsdeducationraciale.wordpress.com/2015/12/02/apercu-sur-le-racisme-national-socialisme/. Evola's views on this issue are challenged and further rectified on the basis of the very writings of the main German racists, racialists, anthropologists and eugenicists of the inter-war period.
An introduction to Appendix 3 ("On the Early History of Northern India"), a study written by the long forgotten J. F. Hewitt (1835-1908), late Commissioner of Chota Nagpur and one of the greatest representatives of Vedic and Hindu scholarship, Appendix 2 aims at shedding new light, emanating mostly from a source (Indian scholars) that is, and has always been, overlooked by White racists and racialists, on the thorny issue of the early history of Aryan peoples, in particular the even thornier question of the formation of the caste system, and, even more particularly, that of the so-called "second birth". The facts and the evidence that are exposed on this study will not please all White racists and racialists.
