You might want to read a historical novel that is centered around the Knights Templar than just a run of the mill history. The historical novel has a plot and characters but uses the symbols and traditions of the Knights Templar as a back drop to the story. Such a Novel is The Knight Templar – by Jan Gillou. Jan Gillou is more known for his work in exposing and writing novels about the intelligence community. However this novel is first rate and has a lot of Knights Templar traditions in it.
