Thanks for the review. Last book was "Prey". Really spooked me on the nanotech push. His books force the average person to take a second glance at the scientific frontier.

Michael Crichton is one of my favorite authors. Sphere is fucking amazing, but his best book is his sort-of autobiography Travels.

That book changed my life.

I love Crichton! Haven't read disclosure before, will have to pick it up sometime.

I read that book a long while back, I did the same thing I couldn't put the book down. I stayed up till almost 4 am reading that book. It was my second Crichton book and has locked him into being my favorite author ever since.

Rising Sun was great too. Although it ended up China taking over the West, not Japan. Thats not what people thought was going to happen in the 80s!

It even has a 'DeepFakes' Closed Circuit camera plot line. I won't spoil it...
