Read Prey. There are things that didn't seem possible before but with technology where it is I am sure there is something like this already in the works.

Thanks for the review. Last book was "Prey". Really spooked me on the nanotech push. His books force the average person to take a second glance at the scientific frontier.

I've never seen the movie or read the book. Thanks I'll have to check it out

I don't think there is a movie. It would be interesting.

And who could forget "Feminist Farm" - an instant classic.

Michael Crichton is one of my favorite authors. Sphere is fucking amazing, but his best book is his sort-of autobiography Travels.

That book changed my life.

Never heard of it. Sounds interesting, thanks

All of his books are like this. My wife collects them and each of them is intensely researched.

I love Crichton! Haven't read disclosure before, will have to pick it up sometime.

I read that book a long while back, I did the same thing I couldn't put the book down. I stayed up till almost 4 am reading that book. It was my second Crichton book and has locked him into being my favorite author ever since.
