Right now my gaming group consists of my 9 year old and my 12 year old. My wife will join us sometimes but hasn't been as into it as the two of us. I have friends that come over from time to time as well but being adults with kids, jobs, etc it's tough to get us all scheduled together!

I too would love to play some bigger, badder games.

I'm currently building or my collection of GMT style games. I don't get to play them often, but I try.

I like Fortune and Glory, but it's a really long game so it usually ends up being the only thing my friends and I play that night. Machi Koro and Tsuro are fun and quick games that were relatively inexpensive.

I am obsessed with Quartermaster General. I insist that we play it every week at our club. It's so much fun!

I get together with friends every week. We switch between a Descent campaign and other games every week (play Descent one week, do something else next week, then back to Descent, etc.) Last week we played Dead of Winter which was great fun. We did two shorter games. I think we'll get into some Star Wars Imperial Assault or Armada in the future.

There was a time when I was playing Twilight Struggle once a week, at least. I love and miss that game.

Lately, our games have been Scoville, Freedom: The Underground Railroad, Airlines: Europe, and Castles of Mad King Ludwig.

What about a Castles of Burgundy or Lords of Waterdeep type game? Feels a lot heavier than a deck builder but won't cause you to throw your hands up in disgust over the rules and mechanics.

Anything heavy and euro style. But really I have a wide range of interests. I have played a TON of Shadowrun Crossfire which I think means I love punishment and pain.

Deck builders are a lot of fun.

My eldest daughter recently got heavily into Magic: The Gathering so we're spending a bit of time with the OG deck builder. My wife however, has fallen hard for Star Realms. Love that game!
