Consistency. My hammer blows is one of the major issues. It's all the same bar so far. The consistency comes with practice, and I can tell I am slowly getting better, but a long way off from being decent.
I heard it was 10,000 hours. Lol. But it doesn't scare me off. I enjoy it, its addictive. I have been using 15 lb dumbbells, and at work I try lifting batteries like dumbbells.

Don’t want to scare you off but I’ve heard 1,500 hours of something leads to relative mastery.
Would a weight training course help?
