You guys are all meanies. Why do you call me out on my bullshit? Don't you see it's misogynist to criticize a m'lady's logic?

That manhood101 shit is spam not trolling. They post that same shit everywhere.

[–] SuperConductiveRabbi 1 points 20 points (+21|-1) ago  (edited ago)

manhood101 is spam, but here she seems to have recently deleted a thread because the question offended her: https://voat.co/v/AskVoat/comments/437977

I found it on /v/askvoat/modlog/deleted

[–] Clayton 9 points 5 points (+14|-9) ago

In her defense I would count that as spam in my subs. Not sure if /v/AskVoat has a rule on spam questions (I'm on mobile).

[–] codyave 3 points 17 points (+20|-3) ago

I'd say they're both spam and trolls. They derail discussion with insults while promoting their website.

[–] kissmyasthma99 7 points 6 points (+13|-7) ago

Kevdude's argument doesn't apply to what 'she' was saying. As a mod she can do whatever she wants and if the community is unhappy they should let her know. 'she' banning trolls has nothing to do with the freedom of speech of Voat vs commenting in a sub, with rules to follow. What 'she' is saying apply to CCP points and being able to post and downvote when reached a certain point. I don't agree with many things she says or do but the community this time is acting stupid and arrogant.

[–] goodluvin 1 points 15 points (+16|-1) ago

It's the double speak that's bad. Doing one thing and saying another.

Am I suppose to believe she's all of a sudden changed her ways? Am I suppose to just "trust her" that she's changed? Rather just find a better moderator. This one's a dud.

[–] korkyshadow 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

The thought police are out in full force! Instead of witching hunting until people hate you just wait for she to fuck up.

[–] korisnik 1 points 12 points (+13|-1) ago  (edited ago)

So mods can do whatever they want with their subs, but god forbids users do whatever they want with their votes! That is unacceptable, stupid and arrogant!

Well guess what, community is letting her know, by downvoting. The best thing is it's all by the rules, the same rules that were used to grant her ownership of that board, but now she is at the other end.

[–] Scandinavian [S] 1 points 5 points (+6|-1) ago

As a mod she can do whatever she wants and if the community is unhappy they should let her know.

This isn't Reddit, however. And the community couldn't have been clearer or louder. Yet he/she is still the top mod of AskVoat. What do you want the community to do when hundreds of people protesting and thousands leaving AskVoat isn't enough?

[–] happychildless 13 points 4 points (+17|-13) ago

/u/she is so easy to hate. It's Donald Trump of Voat.

[–] phenomenaldouche 2 points 29 points (+31|-2) ago

That's unfair to the Donald; at least he's entertaining.

[–] Doomking_Grimlock 1 points 2 points (+3|-1) ago

I'll give him that, I usually get a chuckle out of Trump.

"she" wasn't downvoated because of an unpopular opinion, but because of abuse of the mod position and because of the earful given to the community by Puttitout, who later 'agreed' to ban users that downvoated.

They probably saw admins don't give a shit about the public scrutiny and uproar over taking AskVoat away from the community and thought it as their only recourse, which it is. I haven't downvoated she myself as I think it's a bit underhanded, although I understand the argument for doing so.

[–] junglemonkey47 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

I am not here enough to know if she's bad or not. I've seen lots of people vocal on both sides of the argument.

[–] Uncle_Skeeter 4 points -1 points (+3|-4) ago

Let's go ahead and replace "him/herself" with "themselves" as it's both gender neutral and it just flows better.

And I'm not being a SJW cuck when I say it's gender neutral. I'm stating the fact that since you don't know their gender, it's better to use a word that flows better in place of the original since it works the same and sounds better.

[–] SuperConductiveRabbi 1 points 10 points (+11|-1) ago  (edited ago)

Or we could just use "him," which is the normal way to use the English language, and people can simply understand that the context means the gender is unimportant. It's only hypersensitive feminists that made it an issue in the first place. It's like the words "man" and "mankind." It doesn't mean humans that have a dick between their legs, it means every human.

What's next, banning children from learning French and Spanish because they have gendered nouns? Actually, that'd be a good rumor to spread around as a prank. Feminists would eat that shit up.

[–] Scandinavian [S] 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago  (edited ago)

It's just plural, but I get your point. I'd just like to point out that it's not necessarily "her", as the damsel in distress-narrative was tried for a few days (fortunately, everyone but Puttitout saw right through it).
