The first thing I thought of was, oh, this is nice. Miracle of life and all, good for them. Then I was like, wait a minute, that hospital will now need to give 16 employees paid maternity leave, possible unpaid extensions on top of that, and no matter what guarantee all their jobs will be waiting for them when they get back. The hospital will need to find temp workers to replace them that no matter how good of a job they do, will be fired whenever the mother decides to come back to work. And, on top of all that, they will have to deal with all the emotional issues that women face, which is triple the norm pre and post birth. That means hundreds of hours of lost labor due to crying. But lets make sure we pay them the same. Hell these women are probably getting paid more than their male counterparts.
