That's what I was thinking. Same reason I hate Gifs, most of the time I want to see what led up to it and hear what going on...

Anyway, just for you.

The goddamn video clip.

I hate watching videos. I'm not always somewhere I can turn the volume on. Videos take up so much more bandwidth and data. And if I'm in a hurry, I can choose to read faster or skim, whereas a video has a fixed length. Videos also can take forever to get to the point where in text I can just skip to the point.

If you're gonna "skim", don't fucking bother. Just ask someone who's not a faggot like you

Videos also can take forever to get to the point where in text I can just skip to the point.

No, you can't. You might think you can, but you end up finding something you agree with with and then take it out of context and act as if that was the point.... which you can't know without reading the entire thing. Who the fuck raised you losers?

First of all, if you think this rich celebrity (who has clearly been chosen as a mouthpiece by the corrupt mass media. He wouldn't get so much airtime if this weren't the case) doesn't have an agenda, you're easily fooled.

And why is so much of mainstream atheism celebrity worship and repeating the same weak arguments over and over again? Because they're not actually arguments, but intellectually dishonest, convenient excuses to be hedonistic and morally irresponsible.

If we're dealing in justice, then a life of suffering for nothing in a godless world would be the true injustice.

Also, let's not forget that much of the suffering in the world today could be fixed with a focused stream of resources given out of love, but instead the evil elite spreads propaganda and amasses wealth at an alarming rate, willfully subjecting entire populations to suffering and death in the process. And what else do they do? Weird occult stuff. Things really speak for themselves.

Here's how Jesus feels about it:

(John 9:1-3) "And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. {2} And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? {3} Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."

(Luke 4:18-19) "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, {19} To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

(John 11:4) "When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby."

(2 Corinthians 12:9) "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness..."

And God:

(Exodus 4:11-12) "And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? {12} Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say."

(Genesis 6:5-6) "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. {6} And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart."

(Isaiah 35:3-6) "Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. {4} Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. {5} Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. {6} Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert."

All things are in balance and are part of God's Perfect Plan: this certainly includes disabilities and suffering.

The true source of all this suffering is Satan, who introduced sin into the world:

(Romans 5:12) "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"

(Romans 5:15) "But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many."

But we can have hope, because Satan was already defeated by Jesus 2000 years ago!

(John 16:33) "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

(John 3:16-17) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. {17} For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

(Romans 6:23) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

(Romans 8:18-20) "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. {19} For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. {20} For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,"

And sure this is anecdotal, but think about it: how many disabled atheists do you know? I personally have never met any. I have met multiple grievously disabled Christians though, because they've been given Hope and realize that:

(Luke 12:23) "The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment."

(2 Peter 3:8) "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

And they know that something greater is coming!

(Revelation 7:16-17) "They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. {17} For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

(Revelation 21:4) "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

And all of us Christians know that:

(Romans 8:28) "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

So what some people deceitfully or lazily claim is evidence against the existence of God is actually direct evidence of sin, the result of which is suffering and death. This world can't be a paradise and must eventually be destroyed:

(Matthew 13:24-30) "Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: {25} But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. {26} But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. {27} So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? {28} He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? {29} But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. {30} Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

But we know that sin has already been defeated and that God's Promise is open to everyone:

(Acts 2:38-39) "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. {39} For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

And Jesus will give you rest:

(Matthew 11:28-30) "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. {29} Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. {30} For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

If you interested by this, please start reading Matthew in the New Testament! It's the best decision you'll ever make.

You're arguing with an ex 16 year Christian. Conflating atheism with a justification for self interested behavior is like conflating christianity with a deficiency in critical thinking skills and a positive correlation with cognitive dissonance.

No benevolent God would ever allow the kind of horrors that exist in our world. If there is a god he is outright evil. Or at very best he doesn't give a shit.

I was taught at an early age that god is all-knowing and all powerful. So, in reference to the useless pain and suffering that exists in the world, either god doesn't care, or he's to weak to do anything about it.

Jews didn't create the Bible, bro. The book is full of condemnation of jews and the exposing of their crimes. The Israelites of the Old Testament are not related to modern-day jews. Jews do love to attack the Bible and Christianity, though.

I have only met a few people who I feel truly believe in a higher power. I'm not talking about people who just happen to go to whatever service each week. The thing they shared in common? They had all seen "hell on earth" (ex. lost boys, criminals, outcasts etc.) It convinced them that hell is real. And for whatever reason these people almost never spoke of religion and didn't treat it as a social club.

100% correct. A failure to view it as such proves a failure in the believers mind. The can never be saved from their own asinine beliefs. The believers simply lack the capacity to better themselves and move on past fairytales

Yeah! "God can't exist because he would violate what I consider objective moral standards, even though without God my so-called objective moral standards are really just my own, insignificant, evolutionary and arbitrary subjective sensibilities, which would have no real significance anyway"

This relies on your asinine assumption that morals must come from a higher power and that without it humans are all awful beings, wh3n in reality it's usually the opposite way around.

and literally i mean it, you are sick. Your one of the types i speak about who thinks you dont rape murder or steal because of an all powerful watcher who will punish you for eternity. You are subhuman, it isnt your fault, you are biologically incapable of being better. True humans, decent people, behave for the sake of being good people, not out of fear of a fantasy god
