A pretty solid source.

This isn't censorship, its a business decision. Misleading title for upvotes. There's enough religious people trying to infringe on freedoms without having to resort to this sort of sensationalism. Don't many atheists boycott Chick-fil-a?

It is censorship, but not by the government. It's up to the landowner what he wants to do with his land in the end and I guess I'm okay with that. I guess the double standard is annoying. Could you imagine if he took down a jewish ad?

I believe in the alien form of God so I guess I fall under an atheist. ..????

Chik-fil-a is crack! Tastes great, fucking best service I've had in the US from a fast food joint, staff don't fuck up your order any where near as often as other places, and my local stop donates like made to the community. Before eating at one I talked shit about them because I read about the gay thing ??? Closed on Sunday??? Closed on Sunday ...sucks :-( However, I bet all those haters still go there ;-)

Yeah, right, and Reddit deleting stuff isn't censorship, either, it's "a business decision".

Technically it is. It's the same thing that Conservatives had a beef with Facebook over recently. Twitter does it all the time. It's a weird area that is hard to approach because it IS a private company, but at the same time it has become a huge source of public communication. I think it's shady as fuck but I have no desire for the government to come in and force them to make decisions.

They claimed they deleted fat people hate because it upset a good portion of their user base. Deleting it in the long run was more profitable for them.

No. I do not anyway.

I respectfully disagree, but I do recognize the validity of your argument.

Yet Muslims get their own shortlist for political appointments at the Whitehouse

i know im stepping in the wrong neigborhood as i know what sub i am in. but they would probably complain if it was a sex store ad, or a islamic billboard. they as residents of their city have a right to complain and have shit taken down if they dont like. especially if it is on a public area.

if its on private land, then fuck em...but its their right. personally, no one really cares that much about religion except for sand niggers with islam, and athiests. and for some reason, athiests go after the christians...who are much better than sand niggers.

Correct.

and have shit taken down if they dont like.

False.

especially if it is on a public area.

Absolutely false.

With that said, this isn't on a public area, it's a private billboard.

The billboard was taken down after several residents threatened to stop doing business at the gas station and store, whose space the advertising company used for the signage.
