Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Heck if I know for sure, I wasn't there. But through honest open forum we may not always know the truth, but we can at least get closer to it.

But we already know the world is billions of years old for a million reasons, and homosexuality is natural in virtually all mammals..

i think he means that we're not here to be an echo chamber. This is a place for discussion. so having diverse viewpoints (as extreme or outlandish they can get) is actually a good thing since it gets us closer to the truth through meaningful debate

If it's not personal experiential knowledge, then we only know what we've been told. Sure there are some gay mammals and the earth is most likely older than 6,000 years. But question everything, never assume forgone conclusions on hot topics just because the crowd believes it.

That's how witches get burned at the stake kindled with banned books.
