This has been an interesting year for astrologers and conspiracy freaks. Venus was bigger and brighter than I've ever seen her before. Night after night I would see her riding in the West above my trees. Then Jupiter dominates the Southern sky for months. I enjoyed the conjunction between the Moon and Jupiter -- Jupiter was less than one lunar diameter away from the Moon and directly above it. Now we've got Mars dominating the heavens, so bright that you can almost see its disk, right at election time in the USA, as Orion begins his march across the winter skies. I really would like to know what a professional astrologer would make of all this.
