they are both the same price and condition. I am mostly interested in maintenance (ease of fixing). 4x4 would be nice, but i don't need it; its purpose is just basic in town stuff.
I have a beater dakota that I can't get to start. good fuel pressure, noid light blinks (but only tested one clip), and have spark. worked fine (with low fuel pressure) one minute, and an hour later just turns over and won't start. replaced pump module (pump, regulator, filter) and tested pressure is now great. Ideally I'd fix this guy, but it has enough other shit wrong with it (rivets for ball joint almost out, broken spring, etc.) that if i have to give up on it i'm fine with that.
