Even if we do liberate a country, such as Africa

Africa is not a country, but a continent.

The implication was every country within Africa, they're all as worthless as each other.

Are you naïve, or just an asshole? First of all, if you want to argue that they're all stupid, you should show me stats. Second, these countries were established by Europeans who had never been to Africa way back during the Age of Imperialism, so don't try to play it off as if it's the countries' faults that they're ridden with violence. The tribes and groups were forced apart from thrmselves/friendly tribes or together with enemy tribes without any consideration for the culture and history, causing conflict. Now that most (all?) have declared independence, and have to rebuild themselves from a society based around market profit and slavery. And don't pretend they aren't making progress, segregation is no longer an issue in South Africa thanks to Mandel and activists, and people I've met from Nigeria have a sense of national pride since regaining their independence.
