Then stop charging $200 between base memory model and the highest memory model that's insane. Reminds me of what apple forces upon you. Also the only excuse for non-removable battery shold be waterproofing.

As an ex-apple user, even that's not a good excuse. I've had to replace batteries after only a year due to reduced battery life. That was a major reason I chose the S5 as my next phone.

This right here. Unfortunately, general consumers are stupid, and are more aroused by marketing buzzwords; "More Megapixels... Ultra Density Display...
Useless Touchwiz Feature# 429". Base memory on a current flagship phone that sells for over $750 and does not have the option to expand should be no less than 64GB.[–] DaBagel 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago (edited ago)
I feel like Samsung is prioritizing the Qualcomm quick charge feature over removable batteries because most users in the USA get a new phone every two years on contract. But for the people who buy their phones and keep them for as long as they can are being shunted out of the way like manual transmission vehicle buyers. I want a removable battery and expandable storage because I plan on keeping my phone for 3 years and replacing broken parts myself.

Can we go back to phones with expandable storage and removable batteries, please? I love my Nexus 6, but if it had those... I would be so happy.

I wonder how much storage it's going to have then. I feel like once we get to 250gb+ internal storage we really won't need SD cards anymore.

My work bought me an iPad with 12 gigs of storage. This bugs me... a 128 gig micro SD card costs about 50 bucks. Do you know how awesome it would be if I could actually store video on my app-full device?
[–] JDogg1329 ago
Yeah but 12 gigs of storage on a tablet is just stupid. Now if you had 320gb of lightning fast internal storage would you still want an SD card?
