I think they're an awesome service that pulled the rug out from under Rosetta Stone when RS didn't go into online services quickly enough. I'm still on my way to French fluency since my wife is bilingual and I'd like to share that with her.

Most definitely! I was actually looking into Rosetta which was how I came across Duo. It has a fairly simple set up so it's easy to do even at work (if you have head phones!). I fell out of practice for almost half a year, but amazingly I still remember quite a few of the words I had learned as well as the rules to phrasing. So if that doesn't support the idea it's a good endeavor, especially considering it's FREE, I dunno what else to say, haha.
And that's awesome. Having a bilingual partner will really help get it to stick, too. My SO and I listen to the RA Gaeilge station, that's as close as we can get to a "conversation" in Irish, ha!

Funny thing is, my wife is Irish but speaks French and English. I'm an English speaking Eskimo but hope to catch up to her in French as well. The hardest part is sticking with it. I know it only takes ten minutes a day, but those ten minutes feel so valuable at the time :P
