I have a Nexus 6 and I'm updating from Nuget to some updated version of Nuget
How do I fix this?
The search results that came up when I did my searches appeared totally irrelevant to what my issue was but I read some of them anyways to maybe get a grasp as to what the problem is. One said to look in the cache folder for an update.zip file, and there's nothing in there. I toggled between TWRP's option to install from zip and image, still nothing is appearing in those folders when I am in install mode.
I searched for "update.zip location twrp" ,"twrp nexus 6 update and restart can't boot into system" and nothing useful is at the top of the search results as if this is some sort of unknown problem. I've had so many issues in the past where it seemed no one else on the planet had the problem, and this one just pisses me right off since it was a single button press that caused this error and I find it impossible to believe that no one has done this before, so I'm giving up my internet searching for now. And that's where I'm at.

So, you've got a working recovery? Just flash a new rom then. Maybe give Lineage OS a try.

Ok, one question I have here is how do I pull my prefs/settings files from the OS when in recovery mode? I see there's an option to make a back up, but I've never used that. I mean, I've MADE a back up from the recovery but I never used it to restore. Does that just restore prefs/settings and is agnostic to the OS I have or is that OS specific stuff?
