Ancom is a contradiction of terms. Ancap is moral from first principle to closing arguments.

Currency creates an infrastructure for control and centralizes power in the hands of the few. Capitalism is a broken system that will slowly fall apart as we move into a postcapitalist, postscarcity society. Money, now, has been abstracted and corrupted; the wealthy are merely pushing numbers around and don't know the value of a dollar. Children are brainwashed to be afraid of the poor and to aspire to be rich, and that money is a quanta of your worth to society - which it absolutely isn't, it's a quanta of your ability to gain money, no more, no less. For anarchy to work, money must be abolished - look at revolutionary Catalonia for a historical example (before Franco's fascists, funded by the USSR, ruined everything) and at Calafou and CIC for modern examples of functional postcapitalism.

No. Currency is a means of exchange. It is used and was created as a means to bypass the barter system. The Roamn civilizations would use salt as currency as an example. It has value because people accept it and expect others to accept the currency as well. Here's more on the subject

Capitalism is a broken system that will slowly fall apart as we move into a postcapitalist, postscarcity society

It is BECAUSE capitalism works so well that humanity will come anywhere close to a post-scarcity society. However that term is literally impossible by definition. There will ALWAYS be scarcity. Always. You cannot get around this even in a Star Trek wet dream. You want to meet Picard? You and a million other people do as well and his TIME is SCARCE! So you will have to find a way to pay for his time. I'm not going to pretend to know what that looks like but I do know that scarcity is always going to be a thing and thus there will always be a price for something, and thus will always be a currency.

For anarchy to work, money must be abolished

Maybe. Maybe not. I can see a world where people in need just help or they see something falling apart they fix it. I can buy that...eventually. But only peacefully getting there will I buy that. As soon as you FORCE me into your world I don't want in. That's why anarco-capitalism is better. It doesn't force you to be in its world. You want to build a communist society with a bunch of people? Sweet! Go do that. Can I still do my thing and not be forced in your little (or even big) city? No? Oh, now I'm joining the Rebel Fleet to destroy your "Moon."

Cap? Sort of but not really. True anarchy is anarchy. Whether cap or com is a matter of emphasis. Was big on cap back in the day. While that's the system I'd prefer to be in it wouldn't be my obsession once we have it. I'd keep fighting for free thought because any society can never reach it's full potential there.

Neither. Post-left futurist-anarchist here.
