I find that pretty hard to believe, especially given BBC's anti-Putin bias. Was going to let it stay up but now I changed my mind. Please re-submit with a better headline.

BBC likes click bait headlines as much as anyone else, especially when the story is only a couple of lines long when it is first posted as "breaking news" (see thumbnail picture). But you're the boss: and you're now the boss of a sub with one less subscriber.

Enjoy being cock of your own dung heap.

You started in this thread by being reasonable as to the headline; too bad you took a critique so personally.

Emphasis added in your above comment to show your ego-involvement to this minor critique, a trait unwanted by the readers here. We just want a mod-janitor and I believe that @Atko and @Puttitout want this too.

Please stop letting your sensitivities impact your mod-job or step down from the role. Thank you.

@eggnogg:

Leaving out the "Russia says" from the headline is some serious editorializing. When it doubt please keep the original headline.

Look at the Top Stories section on the right in the archive yourself and you will see the headline was exactly the same as the title of this submission. There was no "Russia says". It only said:

Turkey 'shot down plane for IS oil'

@eggnogg your personal bias made you act in error to censor this perfectly legitimate BBC submission by deletion. You then went on to accuse the submitter @SiWofos of lying and even openly abuse your mod powers just to spite him when confronted.

Do you believe this is appropriate behavior for a v/Worldnews mod?

Do you believe it is appropriate for you to continue to be v/Worldnews mod?

Allright brah, you're right and I apologize. How do I make it right? Can't undo mod actions here.
