Yet they still have officers to police the internet for badthink.
As for the recruitment, you won't get quality citizens applying if all they see are police being cunts. You can't selectively apply the law depending on the oppression rating of those involved. You don't get people with strong moral codes if they have to turn a blind eye to anti-social behavior because its the criminals "culture".

Well it looks like banning knives did a lot of good. I wonder how many stabbing happen every day in the US and no one talks about it because we are still working on banning guns.
